Bob Mardling
Bob Mardling is a former Headmaster, educational advisor, Advanced Level examiner and Chairman of many educational committees. A Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Royal Society of Arts, he is a self-confessed Germanophile, having taught in Germany and arranged educational visits and exchanges. In addition to European history, he is interested in many aspects of English medieval history, including the Wars of the Roses and the Tudors. In retirement he enjoys travelling extensively and singing with the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir. He also admits to being a member of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. He lives in West Yorkshire with his wife Liz.
